Model LCD20: Load Cell Amp, 0-10V & 4-20mA Analog Outputs
The LCD20 load cell amplifier provides 5VDC excitation for up to four 350 ohm load cells wired in parallel, and outputs either 0-10Vdc or 4-20mA. This load cell amp is 9-32VDC operational and DIN rail mounted, making it ideal for weighing systems that use a PLC as the load cell amp can be mounted in the same cabinet as the PLC. The LCD20 is provided standard with two relay outputs with user-configurable set points, and two digital inputs that can be programmed to display Gross, Net, Peak, Valley, Snap-record a reading for calling up at a later time, or to Zero the analog output.

The free LC Toolkit software is used to set up and calibrate the load cell amp. Setting up your weighing system is done using the optional PGM1 USB computer interface cable, or by using the optional LP2 handheld programmer. Using the LC Toolkit program, the calibration can be done either by performing a 'live' calibration, by applying a known weight to the scale system, or by entering into the program the mV/V data from the load cell for a theoretical calibration. For applications requiring higher accuracy, a multi-point linear calibration can be done with up to 10 data points. All the settings of the load cell amp such as calibration, filtering, relays set points, and digital inputs can be saved to a file, which allows you upload them to another LCD20 in the future if something were to happen to the original amplifier. The software also has graphing and logging capabilities, which allows you to analyze your weighing data.
